New automatic 'Blogs I'm following' label in Google Reader

I happen to see a new automatically created label in Google Reader 'Blogs I'm following' with the below message. Seems like a fairly recent feature as lifehacker, blogoscoped (Lenssen) or Google OS (Chitu) have not blogged about it yet.

The blogs you follow in Blogger have been added as subscriptions in Google Reader. You can manage the blogs you follow using the Blogger dashboard. Learn more

So Google made a guinea pig out of me? :D

update: got hat-tipped from Ionut

  1. Ditto. Any idea how to disable it?

  2. Been searching for the last 30 minutes trying to find out what this is for and why it showed up today. The links to the 'blogger dashboard' and 'learn more' don't lead to a valid page. Poor feature launch -- must have been pushed to Prod by accident. I hope they remove it soon.

  3. I just got exactly the same thing and message. I googled that message and found this blog post.

I also get nothing when I click on the two aforementioned links.

  4. James, to disable it go to Settings | Preferences and uncheck "Show followed blogs from Blogger" at the bottom.
